위대한 이야기

Jenny and Andy opened GEA in 2013 with a dream of helping kids speak English fluently and reach their full potential. Jenny was born and raised in Sweden by her Korean mother and Swedish father. Before GEA, Jenny was an English Editor at Elle Magazine and appeared on various Korean TV shows. Andy was Student Body President at the University of Kansas and graduated from Harvard Law School. In the summer of 2019, they became the proud parents of future GEA student, Alexander.

Mission

GEA’s mission is to provide a happy, safe, caring environment where passionate teachers inspire students to speak, read, and write English fluently and creatively. GEA students will be active participators in class, confident in their speaking skills, and excited to come to GEA each day.

Message from the Principal

GEA truly is the best of both worlds. An academic environment that prepares students to speak fluently and succeed with English, and a fun, happy place. I love seeing the joy on students’ faces when they arrive on the buses each morning, and the pride they have in taking home a beautiful piece of art, or a perfect spelling test, or a wonderfully creative story. Come and see for yourself! We would be happy to schedule a consultation and a trial class for your child.

Testimonials from moms

Hello, I’m Jung-won Lee, 5 years old in Brazil. Lee has been with GEA for less than a year. How can I have fun with infants without stress? I compared many infants and chose GEA. Courses are well-organized according to the level, manners and lifestyles to learn from English and foreign cultures and Korean culture. And various events that are expected to be children every week, so our children can access a variety of programs without stress, Iwon is a happy infant life without refusing English. We look forward to future growth by growing Lee’s happy dream at GEA.
Ye-in graduated from GEA at the age of 6 and 7, and is currently 7 years old in her second year of elementary school. As soon as I came to the US, I was able to adapt to American schools, so that my school life is as big as a GEA extension. This seems to be due to a variety of cultural experiences and activities, as well as English as a language, which we learned at GEA. My child is doing all the American public school curriculum, he is doing his own homework, and his teacher has been surprised how he previously learned English. Thank you to GEA for her great learning of English and a great foundation for American life.
-Yane’s Mom
Jay Lee (7 years old) has entered GEA since the age of 5 and is about to graduate. I was most satisfied with GEA because he was a little passive and learned English naturally while being in a lively and fun environment. It is also very satisfying to learn American elementary school curriculum without difficulty, but thanks to the library class and debate class, I grabbed not only reading habits but also book report writing, journal writing, grammar, critical and logical thinking. %22 The science and art teacher are also very helpful for curious children ~ !! So my brother Jaebum Jaebum (5 years old) has joined GEA since he was 4 years old, and whenever he says that kindergarten is so fun at home, he thinks his mom was right. And most importantly, we always thank Andy and Jenny for all the teachers who care for our children with love and have special day, various events, and parties so that they can learn English in their life %22 I’m looking forward to 2 years
This is Aaron’s mother Kang. Jenny has been studying with Aaron as an English tutor for two years. Aaron and I like Jenny as well as friends and family. Besides, Andy has been working together recently. Jenny and Andy teach kids in perfect harmony. Jenny is a free, creative and fun Swedish education philosophy. Andy is a Harvard education method that emphasizes logic and debate. I think education. Above all, my son always looks forward to meeting Jenny and Andy at GEA. Because they know the secret of not making a study feel like studying! Being able to teach English, develop creativity and enjoyment, and increase fitness through exercise, we believe GEA will delight other children like Aaron.
